Chumby is your computer at your night stand

by Magneto

ChumbyChumby is a neat little device is basically a self standing widget box that just so happens to have an alarm clock built in. You have the ability to display all sorts of pictures, news, and entertainment on the devices screen along with being able to play podcasts, SHOUTcasts, internet radio, and much more over it. Chumby connects directly to your wireless network and updates what you tell it to, which makes it easy to set any podcast or mp3 to be your new wakeup tone for the following morning.

The widget based community doesn’t seem to have any limits, spreading from games to social networking sites. This makes Chumby a very useful desktop gadget that would allow you to keep your computer clear while not missing a beat. The only issue that really comes across is the high price point of $179.99. While you do get quite the nifty little device for that price, you’re computer and alarm clock can handle all those functions for you on their own for free.

TAG Heuer Calibre S Chronograph review

by Magneto

Tag Heuer Calibre STAG Heuer has always been known for their top-notch diving watches, with many of their watches ranking among the top watches in the world. With the Calibre S Chronograph, TAG Heuer stepped it up a notch or two. This watch is specifically and masterfully designed to be the best watch TAG has ever put on the market.

The movement of the watch is new and innovative. It creates a new way of telling time. It incorporates all of the standard hands, as well as some of its own touches to go with. This watch beautifully meshes the modern and the classic in a way that few watches have before.

Braun Pulsonic 2 with Gillette blades

by Magneto

Pulsonic 2There are plenty of electric razors on the market at any given time with most of them looking fairly similar and providing next to no differences in a shave. Companies like Braun are always at the front of new razor development, providing new working solutions like their Pulsonic model. Many opt for the cheaper no name electric razor as they feel they’re all the same, but models like the Pulsonic provide an unparalleled shaving experience that secures them at the top of the market.

Braun has incorporated Gillette blades into their Pulsonic razor, which provides a much closer shave when coupled with it’s flexing head and cross-cutting technology. The built in sonic motor also helps to stimulate the skin and hair follicles to let you get in as close as you need to without leaving razor burn. You won’t have to worry about replacing the blades as much or manually cleaning them either as the Pulsonic comes with it’s own cleaning base. While not on the cheap side, the Braun Pulsonic is definitely an investment worth making for a closer shave and longer lasting blades.

Strida 5.0 by Strida Areaware review

by Magneto

Strida 5.0 Strida AreawareUsing a bike for transportation may be green and healthy, but you’re left trying to fit it into awkward places or taking your chances by locking it to something outside. Everyone has thought about a more portable bike solution at one point or another and some have even been created. But few of them actually hold up after significant use.

The STRiDA 5.0 by STRIDA AREAWARE is a new take on the solution of a more portable bike. While it caps out at a weight capacity of 250lbs, it’s safe to say that anyone over that weight would feel foolish riding it anyways. STRiDA 5.0 promises a five second fold time both ways and a greaseless chain, allowing you to just fold and go without having to worry about a mess. At 19lbs you won’t be excited about carrying it around all day, but it’ll provide a better solution to trusting your bike outside or trying to fit it onto the train.

Alienware introducing the new Area-51 ALX CFX

by Magneto

Alienware Area-51 ALX CFXAlienware has always been know for their top of the line gaming systems. The new Area-51 ALX CFX is no exception to their long lineage of high performance and sleek looking machines. This bad larry is powered by the new 45 nanometer Intel Core 2 Extreme Quad Core Processor along with a Quad-GPU graphics card setup through ATI’s CrossFireX technology. You can’t look at an Alienware system with the hopes of saving some money unfortunately, as these systems tend to be some of the most expensive pre-built rigs out there. What you can count on is the unparalleled performance. The power of 2gb of video memory, a 4 GHz Quad Core processor, and DDR3 memory set you apart from most gamers in more ways than just the ability to play Crysis.
