Honda Asimo Human RobotAsimo is “The World’s Most Advanced Humanoid Robot”. It stands at about 4 feet tall and weighs around 100 pounds. It is designed to live in our world, built with abilities to help it do what normal people do everyday. Asimo can walk, run, climb up stairs, and recognize faces and voices. It can be very helpful also, with the ability to do daily tasks like serving a drink.

This fascinating robot can walk at a speed of up to 1.7 mph and can run at a speed of up to 3.7 mph. It runs on a rechargeable 51.8V Lithium Ion Battery, which is found in its “battery backpack.” When using both hands, Asimo can carry a weight of up to 2.2 pounds.

Although there are only 20 of these units in existence, Honda hopes that in the future, they will be able to sell thousands of these robots to those with disabilities, needing help around the house.
