Nikon S700 review

The Nikon S700’s 12.1 megapixel sensor is nearly unheard of in a camera this small and compact, and it allows for highly detailed photograph the likes of which other similar cameras have never seen. The over sized CCD will come in handy if your looking for room to crop or make extra-large digital prints. Its 4X digital zoom allows for highly detailed shots and its lens-shift image stabilization is there to counteract any small hand twitches that these compact cameras are so susceptible to. Its 2.7 inch LCD display allows for highly detailed reviews of all recent photographs. The S700 also boasts a high quality movie mode with sounds, auto focus and auto exposure, and an ISO range of 64-2000. The S700 is capable of holding up to 52 MB of memory, almost the highest in its class. Its important to realize that higher megapixels does not mean higher quality shots, just bigger ones. If you are a casual photographer interested in taking large scale photos of landscapes or large groups of people, then this is the camera for you.
