What makes this particular car stereo impressive is not the features that it has, but rather the price at which you can obtain those features. The stereo retails for around $150 on average, which is somewhat cheap for an all-in-one device. You can use this stereo for playing radio, compact discs, and mp3 songs. There is also a calling interface with Bluetooth capability built into the device, although the lack of a transfer mechanism requires that you use a phone that is voice-activated in order to get your phone calls to actually go through.

There are certainly trade-offs in the overall design and feature list of the Sony MEX-BT2600, although the main positive of the low price that you get out of it makes it a definite consideration for someone that is looking to save money on their car stereo purchase.
