The third generation Subaru is an improvement over its previous models with a redesign of both exteriors and interiors. The first thing you notice about this 2009 model is that it is a little taller than the previous ones. The redesigned forester has not only made gains in terms of height, but it has also gained 2 inches in length. The older model was a little tight back at the rear seat and with this redesign, that problem is completely solved. The upright sitting position and excellent visibility have been preserved.
