The latest special edition 9-5 from Saab boasts best-in-class safety features, sleek styling, and impressive additions that continue the model’s tradition as a fine mid-class automobile.
The 2009 Saab 9-5 Griffin has a 2.3 liter, 4-cylinder, turbo engine that gives out 260 HP at 5,300 rpm. The exterior has a number of design changes this year, including a rear spoiler, matte-finish touches on roof rails and front grille, 17-inch alloy wheels, and heated, folding side mirrors.
Inside, you’ll find two-tone leather sport seats, a 200W Harmon Kardon stereo system with nine speakers, and a leather-trimmed steering wheel with local audio, transmission, and Driver Information Center controls.
As always, Saab excels with safety, and in the Griffin you find dual-stage front and side air bags, three-point safety belts, active head restraints, and load-securing eyelets to prevent heavy cargo from shifting while driving. via
