Vertu Ascent Ti Ferrari Nero – Vroom, Vroom

by Magneto

10-year veterans Vertu, Nokia’s luxury cell phone brand, have introduced three new models for 2009, all crafted in association with Ferrari, the legendary German automaker. The most interesting of the three is the Ascent Ti Ferrari Nero.

This phone employs all the weapons used in earlier Ascent models, and adds a few finishing touches for aesthetic appeal. To review, the phone’s black titanium shell, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and red ceramic ear pillow are all but indestructible. Prototypes endured extensive testing for heat resistance, impact, torque, and controlled free fall before production began. Ferrari’s Cavallino Rampante logo, and hand-stitched leather give the Nero its elegant black-tie couture.

The Nero is no slouch on features either. 300 hours standby time, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, micro USB, and PC connectivity, 4 GB internal memory, 3 MP digital camera, Worldwide Travel application for concierge services, and language support for 19 dialects help the Nero shine on.

You can probably pick one up for a discount $8,000 US, if you’re lucky. Find it here.
