Breitling Chronomat B01 Continues the Tradition

BaselWorld veteran Breitling debuted the Chronomat B01 last month to watch fans worldwide. Their reputation for elegant timepieces that pass COSC standards for precision and accuracy – something only 5% of Swiss watches can claim – is carried well by this latest release.

The Swiss legends redesigned their premier chronograph model with meticulous details like engraved hour numbers on its rotating bezel, screw-locked pushpieces and crown, and cambered sapphire crystals on both sides of the case. The three inset chrono dials for second, minute, and hour display are engraved with a subtle geometric pattern that plays with light, and discrete engineering guarantees water resistance up to 500 meters.

As part of their 120-year anniversary as watchmakers, Breitling designed their first 100% in-house self-winding movement for the new Chronomat, joining an elite group of genuine manufacturers. A selection of four case types and four bracelets supply ample versatility for the “ultimate chronograph” that is sure to continue the legendary status for brilliant horology begun by forefather Léon Breitling in 1884.
