2010 GT-R Spec V

Surely one of the best scenes from Gone in 60 Seconds was the crucial moment when Nicolas Cage’s character flipped the lid on the turbo boost button to employ nitro power in losing his pursuers in the blink of an eye. The new 2010 Nissan GT-R Spec V has something similar – you can pretend the rest of the fantasy.
As the name implies, this is a special edition of the popular Nissan speed demon equipped with a special boost button on the dash which fires additional torque for up to 80 seconds before shutting back down. Surely this is enough time to break from the pack of “ordinary” vehicles chasing your tail, whoever they may be.
What can it do, you say? Well, the twin turbo V6 is a 3.8-liter model that peaks at 478 horsepower (you’ll have to wait until next year’s model to break the 500 mark).
Small problem, well two, to be exact. One, the super-powered GT-R is only available in Nissan’s native Japan, at least for now. Two, the special edition specs will cost you an extra one hundred grand, around $170,000 U.S.
