Impressive Furniture by Vladimir Kagan

Vladimir Kagan began designing in 1946, and by the early 50’s his innovative sculptured designs created a new type of look in American furniture. Today his creations are on the cutting edge of the 21st century making him one the most enduring designers of contemporary furniture. He is one of the most important furniture designers of the 20th century. Many of the furniture he designed have become icons in the forties, fifties, and the sixties. The icons have been references to many designers. He also designs for hotels, textiles, and other home furnishings.
His designs are very up to date with today’s contemporary furniture, and he mostly focus on creating sofas and lounge chairs although he may design other furniture such as tables. The lines and curves of the furniture he designs is very clean cut making his furniture look simple and easier on the eye bringing a feeling of comfort. Many of his furniture are upholstered, and in the colors of white, black, and red. Black and white easily matches existing decors, and red make a particular piece stand out in a living space.
