Eco-friendly Designs from Frisbie Design Concern

by Ascent

Brian Frisbie is the brains behind Frisbie Design Concern, a company that creates furniture that seamlessly combines form and function into one spectacular piece. They make heavy use of organic materials like steel, concrete and spalted pecan to create things that could be seen as both furniture and individual stand alone sculptures. Along with the help of his partner, Barbara Frisbie’s miniature landscapes in the nooks and crannies, they describe their work as “ecosystems unto themselves.” The end result are designs that can be appreciated by all, but only truly understood by those that know their vision.

The Frisbie Design Concern site, has lots of information about the company, as well as project news.

This is a great post about finding every way possible to be friendly to our nurturing environment. I am a big fan of eco-friendly furniture as a distributor of Amish furniture. It is becoming increasingly important to find ways everyday to live green.
