Soft Lighting by Pot Bertjan

The lights by Dutch designer Pot Bertjan for Moooi are spectacular. The lights are composed of mainly a string like material, but the strands are moulded into a hard shell that serves as a cover over the light bulbs creating a soft light and shadow in a space. The lights are also crafted of durable epoxy and fiber glass.

The spherical form of the light resembles a moon casting a soft glow providing just enough light to create a cozy environment. The lights with a black cover resemble an eclipse while a light with a white cover look like a full moon. The lights come in different shapes and colors to satisfy personal preferences.
