Cardboard Furniture from Super Limao

Super Limao is a Brazilian design firm that specializes mostly in seating, and makes a habit out of creating modern designs out of materials that otherwise could have been left in the past. One example out of this is their cardboard furniture line, that just like it’s name, uses cardboard as the main material in the design process. Of course it is very strong and sturdy cardboard, able to stand up to the test of times and guaranteed not to rip or tear, but it is cardboard nonetheless. We wonder though, if the chair is made from cardboard, then what kind of box does it come in?

Super Limao’s site is well designed, although written in Portuguese, but it has lots of fun things to see including their other projects.
