Minja Kolehmainen is a UCA graduate that received her first class BA in Applied Arts. She specializes in designing and creating furniture that mixes traditional methods with modern manufacturing technology. The result is each piece feeling like it was handmade, even if it was mass produced. Originally from the snowy forests of Finland, Minja has a passion for woodworking, probably due to all the beautiful trees that she grew up around. The past keeps her inspired, and her main intention is to bring elegance, femininity and simplicity to contemporary living. We think that she is doing a great job on all fronts.
