South American Style from Due Estudio

by Ascent

Harry and Claudia Washington were both born in El Salvador in 1981 and 1976 respectively and met while studying for their interior design degrees at the University of Applied Arts in San Salvador. In 2004 they founded their design studio, DUE, motivated by the want to create atypical furniture that is suited to modern living spaces. In 2005 they expanded their venture at the Istituto Ueropeo di Desing in Milan. Upon their return prompted the opening of their design lab called FabricaDUE, which uses artisan techniques and dedicated local manual labor to produce their designs. Not bad for a young couple.

The Due Estudio site has all you need to know about the couple, their brand and their vision.

I love those chairs! Especially the tan chair with the buckles.
