Dylan Gold definitely has a solid background in the field of fine art and coupled with his degree in Applied Art and Design from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, it’s easy to see how his designs come so naturally to him. After years of creating advertisements, he grew tired of it and wanted to take his hobby and turn it into a career, since he was already in possession of industrial shop space and building custom furniture in his spare time. Dylan doesn’t consider himself as a furniture designer, preferring to be called an artist that uses furniture as a medium, and through the use of hardwood, veneers, metal and reclaimed materials, he creates new works of art every day.
