Lamp Created Using Less Than One Dollar

by Lotus

The eye catching lamp was created by Sara Ebert using under one dollar. The sleeve acts as a lampshade that is made from a Salvation Army sweater and a discarded apple juice bottle.

The Sleeve was crafted with an eye towards minimizing energy, labor, materials, and transportation costs and waste.

The idea is clever and straight forward which is how a good design should be. Sara discovered how easily wool may be felted and that a discarded bottle may be a light source. A combination of the two materials created an award-winning design that is environmentally friendly. For more information you may click here to see her site.
