Unusual Wooden Chair

The wooden side chair by Minja Kolmainen is inspired by a Louis VI side chair. Kolhmainen’s design uses wood that evokes striped fabric instead of soft upholstery for the seat. The seat is unique compared to most wooden chairs.

Not only is the seat unique, but the back rest of the chair is also out of the ordinary. The back rest is only a made up using an oval frame without any other details which is quite interesting.
