Eclosion Sofa by Olivier Grégoire

by Ascent

We enjoy seeing furniture that can take on more than one form and this Eclosion Sofa definitely fits that bill. Olivier Gregoire has designed this one and when zipped up it appears to be just a regular bench, but unzip it to reveal the back section to become a full sofa. To see more please visit his site.

LED Staircase Handrail by Zoran Sunjic

by Ascent

Although it wouldn’t fit into just any living space, if your house is a good match for something like these LED Staircase Handrails we can imagine they would be glowing, literally. At first you might think it’s a waste to light your handrails, but LED uses little power and these could actually replace a stairway lamp. You can see Zoran Sunjic’s site for more.
