For most people, urban life has a way of starting to suffocate them after a while, which is understandable because as humans we have a tendency to want to explore the great outdoors and live off of the land, no matter how modern our world gets, the instinct is still there. Today we are going to see how one New Yorker keeps the feeling of nature in the big city with this NoHo Penthouse with Indoor Garden.
With New York arguably being the birthplace of the modern and minimalistic design, it is really refreshing to see a house like this with elements of nature added back into it. Of course the interior of the house is still designed in a very fashionable way, but the interior garden is something that adds just the right amount of wildness to it. The house features many panes of glass to let sunlight penetrate in and help with the photosynthesis process of the plants. There is a staircase as well that allows access to the roof terrace where there is another small garden among some lounge chairs.
