It’s needless to mention that biking is great fun, clean for the environment and good for the lungs. We have plenty of ideas about how bicycles should be manufactured and how they should perform when we ride them. Most probably wood is the last material we think of when it comes to bike frame design. Apparently, founder of Lagomorph Design, Seth Deysach didn’t think like us. His Black Walnut Bike Frames promise a super-green ride for urban eco-warriors. The whole structure is made of beautifully shaped wood that makes this design so brilliant. We understand your doubts if you’re not that convinced about the stability and weight-bearing capacity of this bike. There’s one thing you can be sure about though: the chic aesthetics will compensate you for the lack of other qualities. Even if you don’t want to ride these bikes, they will look great indoors as well and can enhance your home decoration.
Lagomorph Design started when a friend suggested Seth Deysach build furniture and fixtures for a local salon, a surprising notion given that he had never made furniture professionally. Ignorant of his own ineptitude, he set up a shop in his tiny dining room and alley behind his rented apartment. Inspired by his success but convinced he could do better, Seth founded Lagomorph Design in 2001, committing to building his business and learning the craft of woodworking. Since then Lagomorph has built a diverse portfolio of furniture and cabinetry and a broad client base of designers, architects, and retail customers.
