Designing for pets and their owners sounds like a great and lucrative job these days. More and more companies turn towards this niche, just look at the recent trends in various product offerings on the market. Firms that really want to make a difference, however, need to focus on much more than simple money-making. It’s also essential to impress pet owners with unique and distinctive product designs and convince them that their favourite four-legged friends truly deserve special pampering and extra treat.

Canadian company Loyal Luxe was founded with positive intentions and visions in mind. More importantly, both Quebec-based industrial designer founders, Maud Beauchamp and Marie-Pier Guilmain adore animals, especially kittens. These feelings are quite apparent in their latest design works as well. Today we’ll showcase two super-cute chalets from the designer duo: the Canadian Cabin and the Native American Teepee For Fluffy Little Critters. Conjuring the spirits of native American spirits, mixing rustic with modern chic both pet shelters are attractive to the eye. Recycled cardboard paper is used as main material so kittens will be extremely pleased. If you have a cat then you also know how much they love cardboard boxes: once they jump into a box they never want to leave it again. This will probably be the case with these nice pet homes too. Both paper houses are customizable according to the personality of your beloved four-legged friends. The Canadian Cabin comes with four interchangeable ornaments: a fish, a bird, a moose head and a banner for the name of your kitty. The Teepee has its unique accessories as well: a bull’s head, a feather, a tomahawk, an eagle and a dream catcher for a long and happy kitty dream.

These eco-friendly, chic shelters look great in any living room and last but not least are also perfect for other small furry animals, like small doggies, bunnies and ferrets.
