People that are not really into contemporary design can see things most of the time only in the conventional way. On the other side, you have quite some people – big fans of great and interesting international designs – following the traditional way is usually much too boring and they prefer to think out of the box and see something that is much more creative and unusual.

When it comes to coffee tables, there are plenty of amazing designs around that we can see every day if we keep our eyes open. Today we are going to present you a brilliant idea and a great furniture piece. This coffee table – named as VIC – was designed by Chilean studio, Elemento Diseño. The two designers, Emmanuel Gonzalez and Jaime Zuniga created the table by using one single plywood sheet. They wanted to minimize waste products and utilize the materials in a very creative way.  VIC is made of a single plywood board that is pre-cut so that the whole table can be assembled effortlessly by anyone without using any glue. The legs of the table can be cut out from its corners and inserted in the cross shaped hole in the middle. This design talks about environmental consciousness and pure performance. During manufacturing there are not much losses and all pieces and parts are utilized to build a harmonious whole.

All in all, this white lacquered table embodies great innovation in furniture design that some of us are all looking for. If you, too, are looking for nice coffee table designs then can check out the Cymax coffee tables. Our favorite is the Eurostyle Abril Lightweight White Rectangular Wood Coffee Table.

While that might not be the best example to go on we still think that a clean and empty desk will free your mind of all distractions and help you get your work done little bit better. Being efficient is definitely the name of the game if you have lots of things to do on your computer so having a great desk can help you be much more productive.  Today we’re going to look at a great new desk, this is the new Mantis Desk.

This desk was designed by the London-based designer by the name of Samuel Wilkinson. The desk is made in parts so that the consumer can decide exactly which components are to be placed in which area. There will be a removable drawer for your laptop or other papers as well as a file or folder and a back panel that can act as either a note board or a privacy screen while you’re working. Is this the type of desk that you would like to be working at?

De Tafelwip Will Make Your Relationships Stronger

If you are bored of the conventional dining tables and you are looking for a playful and fun furniture piece then you will definitely like the one we present today.

De Tafelwip is a strange and unusual concept from Marleen Jansen: a wooden see-saw attached to a simple table. By bringing a playground classic to your dining room you can enjoy some nostalgic moments. On the other hand, the Dutch designer wanted to emphasize the basic principles of eating etiquette and sharing meals together. Eating at this table will force you and your partner to stay seated until the end of the meal. You need to avoid any sudden moves otherwise the other person could end up on the floor along with the food. There is no doubt about it that De Tafelwip will put your relationships to the test and might even make them stronger.
