Ilaria Marelli is an architect and a designer who founded her own studio that was named after herself in 2004. She specialized in product, exhibition, and interior design. The studio’s well-known clients include: Cappellini, Cassina, Zanotta, Fiam, E&Y, Coin, Bosa, Invicta, Lancia, Tivoli Audio, and many others. She also teaches industrial design at Milano Politecnico, and is a member of the first Italian Design Council. Her interior design for the Aquagirl Shop is my favorite design.

Aquagirl is a Japanese brand lead in ladies fashion and located in the heart of Tokyo. Everything about the store is hip. The store gives off a clean fresh feeling. The windows are framed by two columns of long white beam, there are four mirrors that create great scenic effects and enhance the size of the store, the soft white glow of the lighting gives off a elegant feminine vibe, and all furniture in the sales area have been designed ad hoc for the store. CASAOPTIMA is a really nice new structure from Sociedad Anonima Arquitectos that is located in Santiago, Chile and features a nice mix of modern architecture, interior design and sustainability.
