Blaupunkt Brisbane SD48 review

by Magneto

Blaupunkt Brisbane sd48

This particular product retails for $159.99 in stores at the current moment in time.

The SD48‘s main strength is the fact that the support that it offers for other electronic devices is quite large. This support includes SD memory cards, removable drives that utilize a USB interface and many of the portable music players such as the iPod. Because of the fact that this support is widespread, many people that are big into the digital audio scene will appreciate having this stereo in their automobile.

On the other hand however, the overall design of the SD48 definitely leaves something to be desired, especially considering the boring look of the interface screen. If you want simplicity and support, then the Blaupunkt Brisbane SD48 is for you. If you want something high-end, look elsewhere.

Blaupunkt New Orleans MP58 review

by Magneto

Blaupunkt New Orleans mp58

The MP58 has a number of interesting features, but perhaps the most interesting is the intuitive navigation that it possesses when it comes to selecting songs from different audio libraries that are available. This, combined with widespread USB support and just as widespread support for discs carrying MP3 files, denotes that the MP58 is definitely a player that brings some serious pluses to the table.

On the other hand, there is no input jack on the front of this particular stereo as you would see with many of the other stereos currently sold in stores. Simply put, this means that mobile audio devices such as the iPod are not compatible with this system. That will definitely be a turn off to some people, as people that are big into mobile audio will see this downside as too big to warrant a purchase of the Blaupunkt New Orleans MP58. This is probably going to be the main reason as to why people pass the unit up when it hits stores.
