Olympus adds another compact and proffesional camera into its lineup; the Olympus E 510. Although a huge leap from the E-500, the only big difference between the E-410 and the E-510 is the very attractive sensor-shift image stabilizer. The E510 is very appealing to novice and developing photographers with its helpful guides and easy-to-use functions.
The E-510 contains a 10 megapixel sensor, a professional TruePic III image processor, RAW and JPEG file formats, 4/3 standard lens mount, Auto and manual focus, Auto and manual exposure, an ISO range of 100-1600, 2.5-inch LCD, Compact Flash and xD-Picture Card Digital card storage, and a Lithium-ion battery. The scene menu can set the auto configure to over 12 settings, including snow, fireworks, and night. The E 510 is incredibly light, making it suitable for anyone with any level of strength and endurance, and anyone with small hands who find it difficult to hold other, slightly larger, professional cameras. Although this camera is quite expensive, it is surely worth the price to produce clear, crisp, and beautiful photographs.
