The Casa Rota House was designed by Manuel Ocana for a well-known ‘Dame of the Theater’. Her dream was to have an indoor swimming pool inside her house. The architecture of the house satisfies her desire of having the pool, a loft with an elevator, and abundant natural light inside the house.

Located in Madrid, the house has the dimensions of 8×8 meters on two floors and an attic where it is the best part of the house with the gorgeous view of the roofs of Madrid’s historic center.

The indoor swimming pool is amazing, and the architecture of the house is a piece of art. There is a modern painting beneath the swimming pool that is observable from top of the angular curved stairs. The flight of stairs is white with metallic trims leading down to where the swimming pool is located. The swimming pool is constructed in a very unique shape that coordinates very well with the contemporary architecture of the house complemented with bright colored furniture.
