LG is introducing its newest innovation in LCD TVs, the new LG 47G75 LCD TV. This 47 inch beauty is LED-backlit, making it a great design to add to your interior decoration. Its super slim design makes it possible to mount on any flat surface of your house without getting in the way, just like any piece of picture on the wall. Its sleek, sexy frame enables it to blend in anyone’s living room. Another cool feature to boot is its 1080p support and hidden speakers. You wouldn’t have to worry about where to put your speakers and hide the messy wiring.
The actual specifications are not out yet, but we can expect a “high contrast ratio” that comes with the automatic brightness and color optimizing technologies.
Sony introduced the world’s first Organic Light-Emitting Diode (or OLED TV “XEL-1″) last October 1, 2007 and launched it in December of the same year. The 11-inch OLED TV “XEL-1″ is a ground-breaking new TV design, with an astonishing thinness of approximately 3mm (thinnest point). This new model also incorporates Sony’s independently developed “Organic Panel*2″, which gives advantages such as high contrast, high peak brightness, color reproduction, and rapid response time, which all combine to deliver unequaled image quality.
The high contrast feature reproduces realistic images using refined shades of black and modifiable control of tone and gradation. Sony has also incorporated its unique technology “Super Top Emission” in its “Organic Panel” to faithfully reproduce light flow through the image reproduced on the display. It also delivers pure and brilliant colors in both dark and bright images, and smoothly reproduces fast-moving images such as action scenes.
